CommuniTea Tasting Experience
Take time to slow down and share tea in good company.
Each CommuniTea Tasting creates space for conversation, learning, and appreciation of the craft behind high-quality teas. These sessions are led by educators and tea practitioners who guide participants through tasting, preparation, and reflection—helping guests build understanding through direct experience.
Your participation supports the work of Communitea Project (501c3)—helping fund teacher tuition, community-based education, and the conversion of our first school bus into a mobile Communitea House classroom.
In lieu of a per person fee, we ask that you make a donation to the Communitea Project. TCP is a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt nonprofit organization.

Types of Tastings:
Guided Tasting
A structured introduction to fine tea for individuals or small groups interested in learning about cultivation, processing, and tasting methods. We explore teas sourced directly from our partners in Taiwan, Nepal, and Japan, focusing on how factors such as altitude, oxidation, and craft shape aroma, texture, and finish.
Ideal for those who want to deepen their understanding of tea through story, context, and careful preparation.
Blind Tasting
An interactive sensory experience designed to help participants build confidence and awareness when tasting high-quality teas. Multiple teas are brewed without labels or background information, allowing guests to observe and describe flavor, aroma, and mouthfeel before learning each tea’s origin and processing.
Perfect for both newcomers and experienced tea drinkers who want to sharpen their palate and explore nuance without expectation.
Duration: 90-120 minutes
Max group size: 10 guests
