How it Works

Step 1 — Join
Sign up for free and create your account to start earning rewards. In the Rewards section of your Wallet, click on a monthly or annual membership to reap further benefits.
Step 2 — Earn
Collect points every time you make a purchase, join an event, read and comment on our Substack, connect through Discord, or refer a friend. Members receive additional credit back on purchases, special discounts, and other exclusive benefits.
Step 3 — Redeem
Use your points for discounts, exclusive teas and bundles, invites to special events, or to support ongoing community projects through Communitea House. Members get access to exclusive reserve teas, collections, and other exclusive content and opportunities from our work in community.

How do I log in?
Logging into your Communitea House membership is easy — just use your Shopify account email (the same one you used for your last order) to log in through our rewards wallet. If you haven’t created an account yet, you’ll be prompted to set one up the first time you access your wallet. If you’re unsure which email you used, reach out to us using the contact from to the right and we’ll help you out.
How does the wallet work?
Think of your wallet as your personal tea chest — all your rewards, credits, perks, referral link, and membership tier details are kept here. You can:
- Check your tier status.
- Redeem store credit and discounts.
- Share your referral link or QR code with a friend to earn more benefits and discounts.
- Add your Communitea House pass to your Apple Wallet. It's an all in one place accessible anytime by clicking the wallet button floating on the left side of our site or by navigating to the Membership page or your Account Profile.
How do I earn credit?
Every cup and every connection counts. You earn store credit for purchases, participation in community activities and challenges, referrals, and an always updated list of new ways to put your educated consumerism to use towards benefiting our community work and yourself in the process.
How do I use the benefits I unlocked with my membership tier?
Your unlocked benefits — including exclusive discounts, early access, and surprise gifts — are listed under Your Rewards and Membership Details in your wallet. Just tap Redeem to generate a code and paste it at checkout when you’re ready to use it.
How do I spend my store credit?
From the wallet home screen, click Spend Credit. You can either redeem your full available balance as a single discount code or enter a specific amount to convert into a code. Copy and paste the code at checkout to enjoy your savings.
What if I created a coupon but didn’t use it?
No problem — your unused coupons are safely stored under Your Coupons in your wallet. You can use them anytime before they expire.
Do my rewards and tier status expire?
Your rewards and tier progress are on a 365-day rolling basis from when you first joined. Your benefits will continue to grow in relation to your level of engagement. Membership benefits and rewards vary by type and specifics for each of those memberships can be found in the terms section for each plan.

How do I use my Communitea Pass to share referrals?
On your Apple or Google Wallet pass, you’ll see your unique QR code. Have your friend scan it — they’ll be taken straight to our site with your referral discount already applied to their cart. When they complete their purchase, your credit will be automatically added to your account.
