Shipping Policy

Where orders ship from

  • Tea & Teaware: Packed by Communitea in Seattle, WA and shipped via USPS.

  • CommuniteaWare (clothing, mugs, stickers, etc.): Made to order and shipped directly by our print partner (Printify network).

Processing times

  • Tea & Teaware: Ships the next business day (Mon–Fri). During busy periods, please allow an extra 1–2 business days.

  • CommuniteaWare: Made-to-order production typically 2–7 business days before shipping. Production time is in addition to transit time.

Domestic (U.S.) rates

  • Tea & Teaware: Flat $5.95 USPS. Free shipping on tea/teaware orders $65+ (subtotal, before tax/discounts).

  • CommuniteaWare: Shipping is calculated at checkout by the print provider and ships separately from Seattle orders. These items do not use the $5.95 flat rate.

International rates

  • Tea & Teaware: Calculated at checkout by weight/destination. Free shipping on tea/teaware orders $250+ (subtotal, before tax/discounts).

  • CommuniteaWare: International shipping is calculated at checkout by the print provider and ships separately.

Customs, duties & taxes (international)

  • The recipient is responsible for any customs duties, VAT, or import taxes required by the destination country.

Split shipments

  • If your cart includes both Seattle-shipped items and CommuniteaWare, your order may arrive in multiple packages with separate tracking numbers.

Tracking

  • A tracking number is emailed as soon as each package ships (Seattle and/or print partner).
